Jacob Christiansen is an award-winning filmmaker from Kittery Point, Maine. He found initial success with his student films “Vacationland" and “The Way Life Should Be". In 2018, he co-founded Seapoint Studios with the goal of bringing more indie film to New England. Jacob went on to produce and edit award-winning short films such as, “The Squirrels in the Attic" , “In the Company of Crows", and “Penny" .
In 2024-26 he directed “The Second Bird" , a feature comedy film about an artist with inexplicably bad luck attempting to propose to his girlfriend. It will be debuting at festivals in 2027.
He also works in commercial video production, producing & editing high-budget projects for
industry-leading corporations, such as Amazon, Microsoft, Lincoln and more. Jacob is currently creating videos for the Healthcare, Biotech, and Education sectors with Copper Hound Pictures.
